Not to be a furry on main but. Beastars has the theatrics, the drama, the bizarreness, the edginess, the glamor, the emotion, the etc etc to be wildly enrapturing from start to finish. Like the consideration of existential questions that dont apply to humans but are greatly entertaining to see the characters struggle with. And the taboo of it all in universe and how social dynamics are handled among these fictional-animal-creature-people. It’s all just flavorful really.
